Matías Valenzuela spoke about Insider Trading and Directors’ Liability at the Institute of Directors of Chile.
During the seminar, Matías explained the concept of insider trading, presented cases of misuse of such information, and detailed the regulation in Chile, among other key concepts to understand this topic.
“It is essential to correctly understand the use of insider information by managers and directors, both due to the reputational impact of such cases and to highlight the importance of preventive policies and the procedures to follow in case such a situation arises,” said Matías.
